We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Zelle, Tap to Pay, or cash. We do not accept personal checks under any circumstances.

Your Employer or Regulatory agency will have this information. We cannot be responsible for selecting the correct one for you. It is important to use the correct ORI Number when submitting fingerprints. If you do not provide an ORI number or if you provide an incorrect ORI number to the live scan provider, you will not receive your fingerprint results. It is extremely important to use the correct ORI when having your fingerprints scanned. You must bring this with you.

The OCA is the Controlling Agency Identifier provided by DCF to identify the provider requesting the background check. Without both the ORI and OCA numbers, FDLE cannot process the request and DCF will not know where to send the results.

If an applicant is to be Live Scanned for multiple items, a separate form is required for each item, Live Scan transactions are not transferable or reusable. Every applicant must be in possession of a valid form of photo ID to be fingerprinted.

No, Concealed weapon licenses and expungements MUST be processed by aĀ law enforcement agency.

A live scan will reveal all your criminal history. Live scan fingerprinting can even include your federal record.

If I have had a live scan before do I need to do it again? Yes, your prints only go to one agency or employer at a time so you can't use one set of prints for two different live scans. Agencies or employers are not allowed to share a person's background check information with one another.

The Live Scan Process takes approximately 2-5 days once DOJ/FBI receives your 41-LS form. Out-of-state applicants must complete the FD-258 "hard-Card" manual fingerprint process, which takes approximately 10-12 weeks to complete.
